The Material Handler will fulfill customer orders through picking and palletizing lubes and antifreeze. They will receive inbound deliveries and load outbound shipments onto freight containers and use an RF scanner to perform inventory movements within the ERP Systems.
Pay: $25.90/hour
How You'll Make an Impact
- Pick full pallets and prepare for shipment.
- Build individual pallets containing multiple products and prepare for shipment.
- Unload inbound freight and stage in designated storage locations
- Move totes, drums, kegs, and pails using approved lift assist equipment
- Prepare shipping documentation using company approved software programs
- Housekeeping- removing plastic, cardboard (bailing), emptying trash and sweeping floors
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need - High school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse Pick / pack experience in a line environment, RF scanner experience as well experience opening cartons, replenishing and picking product.
- Forklift Certification Preferred
- Must be quality minded and have a strong attention to detail. In addition, this individual must have a strong sense of teamwork, a quick work pace and a friendly, outgoing demeanor capable of getting along well with co-workers and managers.
- Prior computer skills are preferred, Examples include; MS Office, Outlook, SAP, Proprietary shipping software programs, etc.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs., while occasionally handling boxes that weigh 50 lbs. This role also requires standing, squatting, reaching and walking between 8 - 10 hours per shift.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
