Job Details

Our client is seeking a Junior Office Accountant to support the daily financial and administrative functions of the accounting team. This role plays an important part in keeping financial records accurate, assisting with routine accounting activities, and maintaining smooth office operations. Responsibilities may shift over time based on business needs, project volume, and overall workload. As an employee owner, the individual in this role is expected to act in the best interest of the company and contribute to broader organizational goals.

Pay range: $24 p/h - 32 p/h

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support

Assist with everyday accounting tasks, including processing payables, receivables, and basic payroll-related duties.
Support the maintenance of the general ledger and participate in monthly and annual closing activities.
Prepare simple financial summaries or reports for management review.
Reconcile accounts, statements, and other routine financial items.

Administrative & Office Support

Keep financial and administrative documents organized and up to date.
Perform general office functions such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Contribute to internal process improvements and assist with special assignments as needed.
