Volt is immediately hiring for a CNC Machine Operator in Fullerton, CA.

As a CNC Machine Operator you will:

• Day to Day Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) to produce parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
• Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and machine setup.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, and machining processes.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
