Volt is immediately hiring for a CNC Machine Operator in Fullerton, CA.
As a CNC Machine Operator you will:
Job Description
- Day to Day Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) to produce parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and work instructions.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
- Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with tolerances.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have: - Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and machine setup.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, and machining processes.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
