An educational opportunity is available for dedicated paraeducators and behavior technicians within a K-12 school setting. The role is designed to support classroom activities and provide behavioral assistance to students, fostering a positive and productive learning environment throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities tailored to various student needs.
• Support individual and small group learning efforts by reinforcing lesson plans and instructions.
• Implement behavior support plans under the guidance of specialized staff to promote positive student behavior.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior to inform educators and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience or training as a paraeducator or behavior technician is preferred.
• Ability to manage and support diverse student populations, including those with special education needs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based education.
• Patience, attentiveness, and a genuine commitment to student growth and development.
