Description:

This position will begin as a temporary assignment with the potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

JOB SUMMARY:
Receive and inventory incoming components. Properly package and ship outgoing products. Accurately recordinventory transactions.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Account for and issue parts.
  • Maintain inventory transaction logs.
  • Complete all appropriate paperwork.
  • Store incoming parts properly.
  • Perform periodic inventory counts.
  • Assist with shipping and packaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Accurately record inventory transactions.
  • Store parts properly.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all quality aspects of this position are met.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma required. Entry-level computer experience recommended.
INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
  • Position requires contact with immediate associates and supervisor.
REASONING ABILITY:
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple or detailed instructions. Ability to deal with standardized procedures and situations with occasional variables.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in the English language, both verbal and written.
MENTAL, PHYSICAL, AND VISUAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to complete routine tasks under deadline pressure. Requires lifting parts, working with hands, and close vision.

Pay Range: $20 - $21 per hour
