Facilities Management provides oversight of university resources and assets and is responsible for the development of the Universitys facilities including land use planning, capital improvement, project development, construction, as well as facilities operations and maintenance including custodial services, landscape services, building trade services, mechanical and electrical, and recycling services. We seek an exceptional individual to join our Financial Operations team as the Financial Support Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II). Under the direction of the department Finance Manager and general guidance of the Capital Analyst, the Financial Support Coordinator is responsible for the administration and technical support of complex financial, budget and accounting functions in connection with capital funds. This position supports the daily financial operations of the universitys capital outlay program including all budgeting, accounting, and reporting systems associated with assigned projects. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with project managers, directors, consultants, vendors, and staff on various financial assignments that require accountability for own work results. Performs technical duties and uses independent judgment to make decisions, interpret and apply a wide range of policies and procedures in accordance with Contracts and Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounting Services and Financial Reporting, and Resource Planning and Budget Office. Requires initiative, attention to detail, and organization while completing a wide range of specialized technical and administrative duties that require knowledge of financial record?keeping, mathematical and general office methods to support and analyze the day?to?day financial and contractual operations of Capital Programs and Facilities Management. Other duties as assigned.
