Assignment Length: 18 months - possibility to be a temp to hire opportunity depending on performance.

Schedule: 40 hours per week + overtime

Work Hours / Time Zone: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (local)

Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator / Inventory Analyst is responsible for overseeing all inventory movements across internal operations and external vendors. This role ensures accurate, compliant material flow between warehouses, work centers, and third parties. Using data-driven analysis (SAP queries, SQL, and other tools), the analyst drives operational excellence by establishing standards, streamlining processes, and ensuring all inventory transactions in SAP are executed according to defined procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Oversight & Compliance

  • Oversee and monitor the movement of materials between warehouses, work centers, departments, and external vendors.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions in SAP comply with established standard operating procedures.
  • Identify, classify, and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies, traceability gaps, and accuracy issues.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable safety and health regulations.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Use advanced data analysis techniques, including SAP queries and SQL, to assess inventory health and identify trends.
  • Analyze data to streamline inventory processes and reduce manufacturing downtime within the assigned area.
  • Provide actionable feedback and recommendations to management to resolve discrepancies and prevent recurrence.
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor inventory data standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Coordination, Auditing & Inventory Control

  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure accurate inventory movements and proper data synchronization.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Support and facilitate physical inventory counts (cycle counts and annual inventories) and audit activities.
  • Maintain ownership of digital inventory accuracy, ensuring records remain current and reliable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and database management required.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through data analysis and establish operational standards.
  • Experience in a production-based or high-volume shipping environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High level of computer proficiency with the ability to manage multiple requests and execute complex system transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel or Google Sheets; ability to write and execute SQL queries or other data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with purchase orders, lot numbers, and data integrity.
  • Ability to define processes and lead implementation of 5S or similar operational standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with warehouse staff, vendors, and management.
