Job Description

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing all outgoing shipments, accurately and efficiently processing, packaging, and shipping Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) products. Additionally, this position oversees the inventories for semi-finished and finished goods. This role carrier interfaces therefore exemplary customer care skills and the ability to communicate effectively are required.

Qualifications of the Shipping Clerk:
High School diploma or equivalent. An associate's degree in business or related field acceptable.
Minimum one-year related receiving/warehouse experience and/or training required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess exemplary customer care skills.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in verifying shipments and maintaining records and multitasking skills.
Ability to keep track of inventory, manage paperwork, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe.

Shift
7:30 am to 4 pm, M-F
or
8 am to 4:30 pm, M-F

Responsibilities

  • Reviews customer requirements for outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer specifications. Weighs and processes shipments via UPS and FedEx.
  • Verifies accuracy of shipping notices, bill of lading (BOLs), invoices, order and other records.
  • Coordinates with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and communicate updates to managers.
  • Utilizes reports to pull parts from production and confirm that product is shipping from the correct order.
  • Prints daily sales receipts and cross-check computer software to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintains accurate records of all shipments and transactions, including shipping logs.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays/overtime/month-end as needed.
