The Sanitation Lead is responsible for dismantling and cleaning MFG and Packaging equipment. This includes removing hoppers, covers, lids, screens, port valves, side covers where applicable, dusters, polisher assemblies, scoops, plastic buckets, plastic drums, and material handling containers. The role guides the sanitation team in major and minor cleans, assists with environmental and data logger monitoring, ensures MSS is completed at the required frequency, and assists production on gummy lines when sanitation duties are not being performed. The Sanitation Lead also supports cleaning and sanitizing processing walls, lift covers, air vents, floors, strip doors, and related areas. The role uses approved chemicals and follows safety guidelines. All Lock Out/Tag Out procedures must be followed. The Sanitation Lead reports to the Supervisor and receives direction, training, scheduling and other sanitation support to meet company cGMPs and cleaning SOPs.
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $24.00 to $28.00. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
