Job Title: Medical Waste HandlerJob Description
As a Medical Waste Handler, you will be responsible for managing the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of medical waste materials. This role involves weighing tubs, dumping contents, placing tubs on washers, performing drum consolidation, placing items on conveyors, and conducting quality control checks on tubs after washing.
Responsibilities
- Offload and reload trailers with medical waste materials.
- Weigh tubs and ensure accurate measurement of contents.
- Dump tubs and place them on washers for cleaning.
- Perform drum consolidation as required.
- Place items on conveyor belts for processing.
- Conduct quality control checks on tubs after washing to ensure standards are met.
- Experience in loading and unloading materials.
- General labor skills relevant to industrial facilities.
- Attention to detail for quality control processes.
- Ability to work in various shifts: 4am-12:30pm, 12 noon-8:30pm, and 8pm-4:30am.
