Job Description

• As the Manager of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing-Food you will develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Monitor market trends and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with company goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
• Manage budgets and forecasts related to procurement and sourcing activities.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain processes.
• This role is onsite and based in Fullerton, CA.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing-Food should have:

• Proven expertise in procurement and strategic sourcing within the food production or food ingredients industry.
• A degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field of study.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes and operations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• A solid understanding of market trends and cost-saving strategies.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
• This role is onsite and based in Fullerton, CA.
