This dual-role position is responsible for operating tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and supporting warehouse operations when yard driving duties are not required.Key Responsibilities:* Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment on and off company property for docking, loading, and unloading.* Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate trailer drop and hook locations.* Inspect equipment for safety and functionality; monitor reefer fuel levels and temperatures, and pre-cool units per company standards.* Unload return trailers and clean them as needed.* Secure trailers using wheel chocks and airline locks according to company procedures.* Align equipment based on scheduled departure times and update dispatch records accordingly.* Maintain communication with the transportation management team.* Park equipment in designated areas and ensure the yard remains clean and organized.* Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.* Perform general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:* Valid Class A CDL with current medical certification required.* Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Pay Range (Base Pay):   $31.71 per/hr.Other Compensation:  May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.Health and Wellness: Medical, Dental, Vision benefits provided by the UnionRetirement Benefits:  401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO):  Includes vacation, sick leave, and paid company holidays provided in accordance with company policy and applicable state and local laws.Share:Apply Now
