Description:

We are looking for a Sr Warehouse Clerk for a top entertainment and hotel company in Anaheim, CA! Join the company's Hotel Engineering Services (HES) team and help create a safe, comfortable environment for guests at Company Resort Hotels. As a Sr. Warehouse Clerk, you'll manage critical inventory and procurement processes that keep our operations running smoothly. This role offers opportunities to work with advanced systems, collaborate with vendors, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HES parts orders.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to evaluate quotes and pricing while ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders for parts and supplies.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of open orders while aligning with HES financial goals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment to support operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective in communicating (written & verbal) with all levels of partners.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical warehouse tasks.
  • Knowledge of vendor management.
  • Prior experience in procurement and purchasing.
  • Prior experience with COUPA, SAP or other business spend management system or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Prior experience in warehousing or hospitality.
  • Process approved material requisitions, source parts and issue purchase orders for ongoing routine maintenance and project work while following Company purchasing guidelines considering quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and communicate with vendors on past due orders; take action to expedite orders.
  • Assist internal customers with ordering needs and identify alternate materials when items are obsolete or unavailable.
  • Perform Goods Receipt (Maximo, SAP and Coupa).
  • Maintain inventory of 5,000+ plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and kitchen parts across three resort hotel warehouse
  • Perform cycle counts to improve upon and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and ensure timely processing of VMI orders.
  • Receive and stock incoming parts; maintain a safe and clean warehouse at all times.
  • Break down boxes, manage e-waste, and keep inventory organized at all three properties.
  • Adhere to Company safety protocols and OSHA standards for material handling and storage.
  • Provide clear and concise communication with vendors on inventory needs and stock locations.
  • Update requestors when parts arrive and troubleshoot delivery-related concerns.
  • Update requestors on past due orders.
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies, file packing slips per Company documentation retention standards.
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve upon existing process.
  • Contribute to developing training materials and procedures.
