Job Summary
The Expediter ensures timely delivery of materials and products across the supply chain to maintain production schedules. This role collaborates with procurement, production, logistics, and suppliers to track orders, resolve delays, and support workflow efficiency.

The Expediter ensures timely delivery of materials and products across the supply chain to maintain production schedules. This role collaborates with procurement, production, logistics, and suppliers to track orders, resolve delays, and support workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Track and monitor purchase/work orders and material movement.
Communicate with suppliers to expedite delayed items and resolve issues.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to prioritize materials.
Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate order and delivery status.
Identify shortages or bottlenecks impacting production.
Provide lead times and delivery updates to internal teams.
Work with quality and receiving teams to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain documentation of expediting activities and supplier performance.
Support inventory control and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing support.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor).
