An established hardwood flooring company in Orange is looking for a Machine Operator who wants to grow with the company. The company specializes in installing and repairing hardwood floors. You'll be working as an operator on computer and non-computer-controlled equipment in a fast-paced working environment. This is a temp-to-hire position, and the hours are 5:00AM to 1:30PM, with a good possibility of overtime. The pay ranges from $25 to $30/hour, based on experience. Machine Operator Responsibilities:
Operator will be operating, setting up and logging data for the Bandsaw, Press, and Grading departments ensuring no lag time in production.

Duties include:

• Moving panels from pallet to infeed of machine
• Set up machines from job to job.
• Logging down time and production data
• Changing tooling for machines.
• Ability to optimize packing of materials to best fit pallets
• Ability to count units of materials and report to supervisor how many units packed
• Ability to tally units completed

• Must be able to make adjustments on the fly and manage multiple aspects of the process line at one time.
• Previous experience running machines
• Ability to measure and log data
• Previous leadership is a plus
• Experience working with wood a plus
• Reliable & available to work overtime when necessary
• High school graduate or GED
• Willing to submit to drug screen and background check
