POSITION SUMMARY

As a Guest Services Operator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and managing guest requests via telephone, email, chat, and mobile communication devices.
  • Operating the telephone switchboard and processing wake-up calls.
  • Connecting and redirecting calls to the appropriate extensions while accurately recording and relaying messages.
  • Logging all guest requests or issues into our computer system, coordinating with relevant departments (such as Housekeeping or Bellperson), and ensuring guest satisfaction through follow-ups.
  • Providing guests information about room features, property amenities, and local attractions.
  • Assisting with room service orders, menu selections, and using the point-of-sale system accurately.
  • Supporting guests with internet access and room entertainment services.

You will also be expected to:

  • Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests, address their service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Communicate with professionalism and clarity, developing positive working relationships with team members.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards and be prepared to handle physical tasks associated with the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
  • License or Certification: None needed.
