Valuation Coordinator

The Valuation Coordinator will coordinate fulfilling residential real estate valuation orders (Appraisal and non-appraisal BPO orders). This role requires expert-level communication and strong client-handling skills to ensure client SLAs, guidelines, and company objectives are consistently met.

The position involves frequent use of multiple communication channels-including email, phone calls, valuation portals, and more. The Valuation Coordinator will order valuations, contact realtors, borrowers, and other third parties as needed to arrange access for valuation inspections, and perform persistent follow-up to ensure all SLAs are achieved. All responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and manage the Company's pipeline of residential valuation orders.
  • Order residential Appraisals, BPOs, or AVMs, as necessary.
  • Perform high-volume, frequent daily follow-up with Borrowers, Realtors, Third Parties, and Valuation Vendors to ensure timely completion of orders, order status updates and completion details
  • Upload completed products to the appropriate client platform.
  • Create and deliver client-level reporting, perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in high-volume mortgage originations and refinance appraisal and BPO ordering, following up through completion, meeting all SLAs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid research and analytical abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team, and;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the residential real estate valuations industry.
  • Strong knowledge of residential mortgage real estate valuation skills.
  • Basic understanding of real estate methods, standards, and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
