Security Officer - Hospital Parking Patrol

As a Security Officer - Hospital Parking Patrol in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact as part of a caring and reliable team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and identification verification as required by site policies.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
