As a Patrol Officer at this education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the school buildings, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
+ Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
+ Work closely with school administration and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure learning environment.
+ Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while interacting with the school community.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
