Position: Marketing Specialist - Automotive

Candidate MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Location: Laguna Beach, CA (Orange County) – 3–4 days/week onsite

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire / Permanent

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Automotive industry or dealership experience required
  • 1–3+ years professional experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Analytics or Program Support
  • 3+ years preferred in Account Management (PM level consideration)
  • Experience working with clients and presenting insights or reports
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, complex spreadsheets)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret digital performance data
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, proactive

Key Responsibilities

Program Ownership & Execution

  • Manage the overall Dealer Tools Program including trade‑in tools, messaging/chat tools, test‑drive solutions, inventory syndication tools, and additional digital tools as the program expands.
  • Oversee program strategy, operations, performance, health, and growth initiatives.
  • Support the Program Manager in program oversight and assist in delivering strategic program improvements.

Client & Vendor Management

  • Act as a client‑facing contact—presenting insights, leading discussions, and advising on digital strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, dealers, vendors, and agency partners.
  • Ensure vendors meet performance benchmarks, reporting requirements, integration standards, and SLA expectations.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Lead the measurement, analysis, and story‑telling around digital tool performance and conversions.
  • Build and maintain reports using analytics platforms, web reporting tools, tag management, and industry‑standard analysis tools.
  • Develop weekly/monthly/quarterly performance dashboards and KPIs with heavy Excel usage.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program outcomes through data‑driven recommendations.

Program Support & Innovation

  • Assist with program compliance, monitoring project status, resolving issues, and proposing optimizations.
  • Contribute to QA activities for website, advertising, and dealer tool solutions.
  • Support creation of communication materials—including documentation, training content, presentations, and program awareness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify new digital product opportunities and technology improvements.
