Packaging Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician. This role involves managing packaging operations on packaging lines, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Complete training modules regarding gowning techniques for entry and exit from designated areas.
• Operate packaging lines, including the assembly, disassembly, preparation, and adjustment of labeling and packaging machinery.
• Visually inspect labels and packaging of finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
• Manually label and package finished goods according to specifications when automated machinery is unavailable.
• Maintain good document practices in recording, maintaining, and organizing batch records, forms, documents, and logbooks.
• Ensure proper labeling and disposal of hazardous waste from the packaging floor.
• Assist other team members in manufacturing areas as needed.
• Maintain good workplace organization and housekeeping of tools and inspection/packaging machines.
• Adhere to applicable SOPs, GMP, and ISO rules and regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in packaging, assembly, and labeling.
• Knowledge of cleanroom procedures.
• Familiarity with SOPs, GMP, and ISO regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is helpful.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
