Senior Graphic Designer
Base Pay Range
$90,000/yr – $110,000/yr
Position Summary
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for shaping the visual identity of seasonal collections across multiple brands within the United umbrella. Reporting to the Design Manager, this role drives concept development, trend‑driven graphic innovation, and execution of compelling designs that reflect the brand's look and feel. The ideal candidate combines artistic vision with technical expertise and excels in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Functions (including, but not limited to)
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on establishing key seasonal graphic stories and trends.
- Responsible for analyzing trends and developing creative, innovative market‑leading graphics within defined merchandising concepts.
- Design and create graphics for multiple brands under the United umbrella, primarily related to t‑shirts.
- Define graphic direction and print creation if needed for multiple brands.
- Create and provide all graphic assets needed for cut & sew categories.
- Present all seasonal CAD presentations, collaborating with Sales on feedback/needs and with cross‑functional design partners for other categories.
- Inspiration > Creation > Tech > BOM > Follow up comments in our PLM system.
- Work with brand merchants to ensure alignment across categories/channels, while capitalizing on key market trends to identify new / brand‑right opportunities.
- Have an in‑depth knowledge of market, trends, innovation, competition, and product, specifically related to graphic design direction.
- Ensure products are delivered on time and aligned with the broader product development calendar.
- Manage time and action calendar for assigned brands to meet all deadlines.
- Products delivered built in full, on time seasonally, hitting calendar and margin targets.
- Cultivate your continued passion for art and graphic design.
- Create seasonal color cards for the design team.
- Edit photos and retouch photos for catalog and in‑store POP.
- Digital and POP concepting.
Qualifications (including, but not limited to)
- Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field and 5+ years of professional experience in apparel graphic design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative, on‑brand graphics that align with a brand's visual identity and market positioning.
- Deep passion for art, design, and cultural trends, with an eye for translating them into compelling product graphics.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, with knowledge of other relevant design tools.
- Hands‑on experience with print production processes, including screen printing and alternative techniques.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
- Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, applying disciplined work habits to meet deliverables and support team objectives.
