Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Immigration Law, proficiency in legal research, and a solid understanding of immigration law. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in various legal matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Associate Attorney's responsibilities include meeting with clients to ascertain their needs and representing clients' interests at interviews with the United States Citizenship Immigration Services and Immigration Court.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in Immigration court proceedings, USCIS Interviews (Adjustment, Naturalization, Asylum, etc.)
  • Conduct thorough legal research for use in briefs, appeals, and motions
  • Prepare legal briefs, motions, and pleadings for court submissions
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive client representation
  • Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to Immigration Law
  • Maintain accurate records of all case-related documents and communications

Immigration Attorney

Seeking an Immigration Attorney with one or more years of experience in immigration law, specifically in removal defense and USCIS procedures. Job will include some preparing motions, appeals, and representation in Immigration Court proceedings. Ideal candidates should have solid writing ability, case‑management skills, and ability to supervise support staff. This is an excellent career opportunity for a qualified candidate who is licensed to practice law in California.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in immigration law
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to thoroughly research case law
  • Proficiency in Spanish (strongly recommended)
