This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Job Title: 1st Shift Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated 1st Shift Mechanical Assemblers to join our team at a military and defense facility in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves repetitive work in a high-paced production environment, aiming to produce 5000 units per month. The position offers competitive hourly pay based on experience, with opportunities for overtime during the week and on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, preferably in aerospace, electronics, or medical industries.
- Utilize common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
- Adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
- Ensure high-quality production by following precise mechanical assembly processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Working knowledge of electrical components.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in assembling high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and related components.
- Capability to perform validation and testing of electronic components using equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with air-frame construction techniques such as rivets and mechanical fasteners.
- Proficiency in electronic box assembly troubleshooting.
- Ability to run functional checkouts and diagnose issues.
- Experience with RF systems testing and troubleshooting.
- PCBA troubleshooting experience.
