Project Manager – Bridge Construction

Location: Orange County, CA

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong bridge construction experience and a solid background managing Caltrans projects. This role oversees all phases of heavy civil infrastructure work, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge construction projects from start to finish.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, cost controls, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Caltrans standards and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, inspectors, and engineers.
• Serve as main contact for clients, Caltrans, and local agencies.
• Lead meetings, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues.
• Oversee safety and quality on job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–10+ years of project management experience in bridge/heavy civil construction.
• Required: Hands-on experience with Caltrans projects.
• Strong knowledge of Caltrans Standard Specs and Plans.
• Proficiency with P6, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
