The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the proper cleaning, drying, pressing, and organization of all linens, uniforms, and related items throughout the Club. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected at The Pacific Club by ensuring all laundry operations are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Reports to: Spa & Fitness Director and Manager

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and rotary iron press safely and efficiently.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press all linens, uniforms, towels, and other laundered items according to established standards.• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report issues to the supervisor.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.

• Keep all laundry areas clean, sanitized, and free from clutter in accordance with health and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with all departments (e.g., Banquets, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Maintenance) to ensure timely delivery of laundered items and fulfillment of daily operational needs.

• Track and monitor linen and uniform inventory; notify management when supplies are low.

• Follow all Club and safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and equipment.

• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to operate commercial-grade laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and rotary iron presses.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Effective communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.

• Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Neat and professional appearance at all times.
