Role: The Dean of the SOAS represents the school within the University, the community, and external partnerships. The Dean is responsible for leading the school's academic and co-curricular programs in achieving excellence in accordance with the philosophy and values of Lutheran Christian higher education. The Dean leads the faculty to establish degree and program requirements and to administer the curriculum of the school. The Dean is responsible for securing and managing fiscal resources and for recruiting, developing, and retaining faculty and staff who support and advance the school's mission and the University's strategic plan and mission.
