Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and litigate complex civil matters with a focus on policyholder-side insurance coverage disputes
- Draft pleadings, briefs, discovery, and client communications
- Analyze and litigate claims involving CGL, D&O, E&O, BI, and Umbrella policies
- Work on matters involving public entities, corporations, and high-net-worth clients
- Navigate and litigate across multiple California and Federal courts
- Conduct legal research and formulate case strategy
- Collaborate with a high-performing team on a broad range of litigation and appellate matters
Qualifications
- J.D. and licensed to practice in California
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with a focus on policyholder-side insurance coverage litigation
- Experience with CGL, D&O, E&O, Umbrella, and BI policies
- Proven ability to manage full litigation cycles in state and federal courts
- Familiarity with multiple court systems and coverage litigation strategies
