Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, verify accuracy, and perform 3-way match with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Maintain accurate records of payables in accounting software.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process vendor payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper coding and approval of expenses.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues or inquiries.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Maintain organized and complete documentation for all accounts payable transactions and vendor files.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency with Accounts Payable software and ERP Systems (ASW, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Similar).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
