Client is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Mid-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to help in the planning, design, and construction of wastewater facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various wastewater projects
  • Adheres to budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards. Participates in developing budgets and schedules.
  • Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projects.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS Environmental Engineering preferred)
  • 6-12 years of water project experience
  • Experience in planning, design and construction of wastewater treatment facilities
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in California or the ability to obtain within six months
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative technique
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints
