Volt is immediately hiring for a Procurement Operations Associate in Irvine, CA.
As a Procurement Operations Associate, you will:
Support procurement and finance teams in resolving issues related to purchase orders, invoicing discrepancies, and quantity mismatches using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This entry-level role blends analytical thinking with hands-on coordination to ensure accurate and compliant procurement operations in a regulated medical device environment.
- Collaborate Monitor and troubleshoot PO and invoice issues, including pricing errors, unmatched quantities, and GR/IR discrepancies, using an ERP system
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve transactional conflicts and ensure alignment with PO terms
- Analyze recurring issues and assist in identifying process improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of PO changes, invoice corrections, and resolution steps
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to procurement and invoicing
- Assist in generating reports and dashboards to track procurement performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and internal quality standards during procurement activities
- Participate in ERP system testing and updates related to procurement workflows
- Communicate effectively across departments including finance, operations, quality, and supply chain
This is a full-time fully on-site 23-month contract opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday on-site opportunity in Irvine, CA. Shift Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with reporting tools is a plus
- Ability to work in a regulated environment (medical device or pharmaceutical experience) is a plus
Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00 per hour DOE
