IT Security Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Top Concerns/Needs
1. Reasonable experience in IT security operations in mid-size to large multi-site organization. Minimum at 5 years experience. Not looking for a CISO, but also not a raw recruit either.
2. Experience with Crowdstrike as an endpoint security and EDR platform. Minimum 2-3 years.
3. Familiarity with SOX compliance and audits (we are not subject to SOX in the US because we are not public here, but we are part of a public company in Japan and therefore subject to Japanese SOX - called JSOX).
4. Experience with KnowBe4 end user security training platform.
5. Needs to be a take-charge personality that has a clear vision of IT security and can lead our internal technical teams with a security mindset.
6. Okta ( use it primarily for multifactor authentication as it relates to their VPN but also for SSO with some cloud apps.
A nice-to-have would be some security GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) background (policy prep, risk analysis, etc.)
Our client is a large multinational manufacturing company headquartered in Irvine, seeking an experienced and strategic IT Security Manager to lead and evolve cybersecurity efforts company-wide. This role is responsible for overseeing security operations, shaping security policies, and ensuring the protection of information assets across the global enterprise.
