Phlebotomist Hiring Now!

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Location: Home site in Torrance, CA

Coverage Area: Long Beach to Santa Ana

Mileage Reimbursement: Provided

Job Summary:

We are hiring two experienced Phlebotomists to join our Southern California team in float positions. These roles support multiple clinic sites and require flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Schedule:

• Weekly schedules provided by the hiring manager
• Must be available between 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Will work 8-hour shifts within this time frame

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures and collect specimens (blood, urine, fecal)
• Label, centrifuge, split, and store specimens according to protocols
• Maintain specimen integrity during transport and storage
• Update patient records and verify requisition forms
• Explain procedures clearly and courteously to patients
• Demonstrate proper technique using straight and butterfly needles
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations
• Attend annual department trainings
• Answer phone inquiries and relay lab results as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• 24 years of relevant experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.
