POSITION TITLE: Senior Software Architect

POSITION DUTIES: Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Architect where you will drive the development of innovative technical infrastructure and software applications. Your role will involve coordinating system integrations, collaborating with stakeholders, and defining solutions that align with our business strategies and objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading agile operations and development teams in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software systems.
• Setting system performance standards and specifications for software requirements.
• Acting as a technical liaison between project managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Translating business needs into actionable technical requirements for software applications.
• Overseeing the architecture, design, and successful rollout of software solutions using a range of technologies including iSeries AS/400, NetSuite, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, .NET, Java, databases, and web services.
• Identifying and addressing gaps within software applications by proposing effective technology solutions.
• Driving enhancements in systems, processes, and coding practices based on research of best practices.
• Implementing modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, such as unit testing and continuous integration.
• Researching, benchmarking, and evaluating new technology options to make informed recommendations.
• Presenting proposed design options to business users and IT leadership.
• Evaluating processes and solutions with a technology-agnostic approach to improve efficiency.
• Developing robust software security programs to protect the sharing of private information.
• Providing mentorship and training for team members in software application usage.
• Quickly troubleshooting and resolving coding issues to maintain project momentum.
• Designing solutions with a strong focus on security, emphasizing a zero-trust model.
• Centralizing monitoring and logging to optimize visibility while maintaining security.
• Driving initiatives to enhance performance, scalability, reliability, and reusability of software applications.

REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in roles such as Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or Software Architect, ideally within a retail environment.

SALARY: $176,134.00 per year
