Job Overview:
MetroSys is seeking a skilled Fortinet Network Engineer to join our team to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Fortinet security products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and associated Fortinet technologies. This role will be responsible for designing secure network architectures, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and security policies
• Administer and maintain FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized management and reporting
• Design and implement network security architecture across LAN/WAN environments
• Perform upgrades, patches, and backups of Fortinet devices
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security events
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to assess security posture and recommend improvements
• Maintain documentation related to network configurations, changes, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)

• 3-5+ years of experience in network engineering or network security
• Hands-on expertise with Fortinet products: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, NAT, ACLs)
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL) and firewall policy design
• Familiarity with SIEM integration and network monitoring tools
• Fortinet NSE certifications preferred (NSE4 or above)
• Experience with network segmentation, high availability, and redundant systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)
• Exposure to SD-WAN or hybrid cloud networking solutions
• Familiarity with other network/security tools (Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, etc.)
