About Us:

At Behavioral Health Works, we are committed to delivering personalized ABA therapy for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our approach helps individuals with Autism improve socially significant behaviors through the principles of Behavior Analysis. Our extensively trained BCBAs, Case Supervisors, and Technicians work closely with parents to create tailored treatment plans for each child's unique needs.

Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to provide evidence-based behavioral therapy to children in need of support. As a Behavior Therapy Specialist, you will teach vital skills such as communication, social interaction, self-help, and play through the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).

Our program is supervised by Clinical Directors and experienced BCBAs who provide valuable training and support. We offer Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training with all fees covered by our organization. If you thrive in a dynamic and nurturing environment, this position could be ideal for you!

Requirements:

  • Deliver in-home and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.
  • Availability needed Monday to Friday between 3:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
  • Travel to and from client homes is required, so a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are essential.
  • Complete onboarding and initial training requirements.
  • Record behavior and skill acquisition data during therapy sessions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and stay focused on goals.
  • Bring a fun and energetic personality to engage actively with children.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Desire to collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to achieving positive outcomes.
  • Experience or exposure to Autism or special needs is a plus!

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Access to a smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client data is essential.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
  • Proof of negative TB test and necessary vaccinations will be required during onboarding.
  • Ability to actively participate and engage throughout the entire session.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may receive higher pay rates.

Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected Hours: Part-time, 10 - 20 hours per week

Schedule:

  • Minimum of 10 hours availability during the week within designated service hours.
  • Evening hours after school (3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.)
  • Monday to Friday and potential weekend availability.
