Job Title: Accounting Manager (Individual Contributor)

Location: Irvine, California

Type: Hybrid

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to join our team as an individual contributor. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this role will play a key part in supporting the accounting and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to help drive financial accuracy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
  
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, identify key performance trends, and support strategic decision-making to drive business growth.
  
• Coordinate and monitor internal controls, and support external audits and tax filings to ensure regulatory compliance.
  
• Develop deep expertise in the ERP system, actively participating in system upgrades and implementations to enhance financial operations.
  
• Act as a cross-functional business partner, collaborating with various departments to resolve accounting-related inquiries and support process improvements.
  
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting support to the Assistant Controller and Controller as needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• CPA certification preferred.
  
• Experience with SOX compliance and US GAAP is highly desirable.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and/or controlling.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
