Production Schedulers are primarily focused on converting the Master Schedule into an operational one-to-four-week schedule for a facility after aligning with internal manufacturing capacity. The Production Scheduler is responsible for level-loading daily production schedules by analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize throughput, minimize manufacturing cycle time and inventory, and achieve on-time delivery goals. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and effective coordination with cross-functional teams including Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing.
