The City of Irvine seeks a passionate and motivated individual for the Extended Part-time Property & Evidence Specialist I position. The position of the Property & Evidence Specialist I requires administrative and technical duties associated with receiving incoming property, including evidence. This position is Extended Part-time with a schedule requirement of 32 hours per week. All applicants must be able to pass the Public Safety background check process. Your Impact. Protect the integrity of evidence through proper storage, security, preservation of its condition, and lawful release or disposal of property or evidence. Maintain documentation of the process that meets the requirements for chain of custody records and is sufficiently accurate and complete to satisfy any court that has reason to examine the process.
