Job Title: HRBP Payroll

Pay Rate: $32-$36 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced HR professional to manage payroll and support HR operations. This role involves processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and working with various departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll using ADP.
  • Calculate complex payrolls including deductions, incentive pay, and expatriate salaries.
  • Maintain employee data in HRIS and timekeeping systems.
  • Generate and reconcile payroll-related reports (e.g., FSA, 401(k), vacation accruals).
  • Handle payroll deductions, garnishments, and tax filings.
  • Respond to employee questions about payroll and benefits.
  • Create reports for HR and Finance teams.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Assist with onboarding, terminations, and employment verifications.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Must have handled payroll for a minimum of 550 employees.
  • 3-5 years of payroll and HRIS experience.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
