Job Description

Client-service-focused HR Business Partner to play a strategic role in connecting our plant operations with business objectives and HR policies and practices. In this role, you will manage all aspects of human resources, including legal compliance, workforce planning, recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate the talent acquisition process, including external sourcing with temp agencies and direct recruitment, interviewing, and hiring, especially for high-level management/professional positions, and work with department managers to understand the skills and abilities required for job vacancies.

· Process payroll with ADP.

· Develop and implement HR processes, including workforce planning, compensation administration, organizational change/effectiveness, and organizational development and career planning.

· Proactively manage legal risk; ensures manager and team member compliance with company policies and procedures, and governmental regulations.

· Identify root-cause issues, match people strategies to business strategies, and deliver programs that drive results and strong employee engagement.

· Respond to team member questions regarding but not limited to the following: employee relations, company policies, leadership and employee development, compensation.

· Maintain detailed knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and labor legislation and consistently develop HR procedures and policies to match.

· Collaborate with management to provide metrics/KPIs and recommendations to ensure attraction, retention, and a high-performing environment.

· Other duties as assigned.

Organizational Relationships

· This position reports to the HR Director.

· This position manages the Reception/HR Assistant

Requirements and Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree

· Minimum 10+ years of experience in generalist Human Resources

· Required proficiency, knowledge, and experience in all HR processes: selection & and employment (sourcing strategies, interviewing skills, Employment laws, onboarding), employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, workers' compensation, and talent management.

· Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations

· Strong planning and project management skills and ability to apply these skills in effective working partnerships across organizational lines.

· Experience in coaching and providing training to business partners and managers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
