Position: Human Resources Representative

📍 California (On-site)

💼 Full-Time | Competitive Compensation Package (Salary + Bonus + Benefits)

Drive People Strategy for a Rapidly Scaling Clean Energy Innovator

Our client, a dynamic and fast-scaling clean energy organization is seeking a Human Resources Representative to lead the development and execution of foundational HR systems during a period of significant growth.

This is a strategic, high-ownership role—not a routine HR position. You'll have the opportunity to design HR infrastructure from the ground up, define compensation strategy, implement recruitment initiatives across all departments, and help shape a thriving, people-first culture. If you're a builder by nature with a proactive mindset, this is a rare opportunity to make a lasting organizational impact.

Primary Responsibilities

🔧 Develop and Implement HR Infrastructure

  • Create and roll out comprehensive HR policies and procedures tailored to a high-growth environment.
  • Draft and manage employment documentation, including offer letters, agreements, contractor onboarding, and separation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state (CA) and federal labor regulations.

💸 Design and Optimize Compensation Programs

  • Establish salary bands and job classification systems across a range of roles.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking (solar, cleantech, and construction sectors) to inform pay strategy.
• Recommend performance-based compensation models such as incentive plans and profit-sharing options.

🔍 Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Own talent acquisition strategy across executive, technical, field, and administrative roles.
  • Build and manage a talent pipeline using leading sourcing platforms and industry networks.
  • Deliver a seamless and effective onboarding experience to accelerate new hire integration.

📊 Support Organizational Design & Talent Development

  • Collaborate with leadership to define organizational structure and workforce planning needs.
  • Conduct skills gap analyses and contribute to the creation of internal career development pathways.
  • Promote a strong, values-driven workplace culture through engagement and team-building initiatives.

📁 Oversee Core HR Operations

  • Select, implement, and manage an HRIS platform to centralize data and streamline operations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, administer benefits programs, and coordinate with payroll.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for all internal HR-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an HR generalist role—ideally within the energy, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven ability to establish HR processes and systems in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Strong understanding of California labor laws and federal employment compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto, Paycom) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification.

Compensation & Benefits

🎯 Bonus Structure: Performance-based, aligned with key HR and hiring milestones

🩺 Benefits Package Includes:

  • 50% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Paid time off: 2 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, and recognized holidays
  • Optional annual profit-sharing or performance bonus after one year
