Overview:$16.75 / hour Meet The Creep (Female)Monsters (Scary Farm) Knott's Scary Farm is casting female improvisational performers to entertain Scary Farm guests in various photo locations for Meet The Creep interactive experiences. Candidates must meet specific height and characteristic qualifications. Performers should have the ability to remain in-character for extended periods of time, read social cues from guests, and tailor each interaction to the guest/group in front of them while maintaining the creative direction for the role assigned. This role performs only in photo locations and not in mazes or street zones. Per the casting team's direction, select candidates may be asked to perform a scripted lines or improvise as an assigned character. Candidates should be able to commit to ALL Scary Farm event dates. These roles are compensated at a rate of $16.75/hr. The character has a silhouette that is proportionate to their height and the performer should be able to confidently and comfortably perform in high heels and heavy makeup for extended periods of time. The performer should be able to produce a villainous and evil cackle and captivate the guests with creative storytelling that satisfies the creative direction of the role assigned. KNOTT'S SCARY FARM EVENT DATES :(September) 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28(October) 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31(November) 1 Event dates are subject to changeResponsibilities:Uses creativity and common sense while startling and scaring guests in a safe and effective manner that utilizes performance techniques taught in trainingWorks as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directorsConsistently performs role as scripted and/or conceivedRemain in character while on‘stage and in view of guests and interact with guests while performing in a professional and artistic mannerUtilizes a variety of props and noise makers to support the guests scare experience in a safe mannerPerforms vocalizations such as, grunts, groans, growls, screams, and other monster noises to contribute to the assigned characterMaintains changes in posture, walk, body movements, and physical presence to enhance character believabilityProvides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directionsMaintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisionMeets scheduling availability requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidaysFulfills Scary Farm's attendance requirements as outlined in the Six Flags attendance policyAdheres to the Six Flags Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and proceduresOther duties may be assignedQualifications:Availability to work all assigned Scary Farm training and event dates that include weekday/weekends nights and holidays.
