Logistics Coordinator – School Facility Projects

Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time | $60K–$80K+ DOE

Are you organized, proactive, and passionate about making complex logistics feel seamless? We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of Furniture & Equipment (F&E) delivery and installation for K-12 school construction and modernization projects. In this role, you'll ensure that school facilities are fully equipped, safe, and functional—on time and on budget.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end logistics for F&E deliveries, installations, and project close-outs across multiple campuses.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, clients, and school leadership to align schedules and ensure school readiness.
  • Develop project budgets, timelines, and delivery schedules in collaboration with the Planning Lead.
  • Conduct on-site logistics assessments and scope verification walkthroughs with stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for delivery, installation, and punch list resolution.
  • Track and adjust labor budgets and schedules to meet project milestones efficiently.
  • Organize and oversee furniture removal and disposal, and coordinate new setups.
  • Manage purchase orders, vendor payments, and project records in internal databases.
  • Communicate status updates to district leadership and provide clear progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all logistical and safety requirements during school occupancy transitions.

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in logistics, move/relocation coordination, or project delivery.
  • (Preferred) 3+ years of experience in facility or project management—especially within K-12, higher education, or public works
  • Strong skills in schedule planning, vendor coordination, and multi-site project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Basic understanding of architectural drawings, furniture layouts, and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and common project tracking tools.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • — OR —
  • Additional 2 years of related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
