The City of Laguna Beach is accepting applications for the position of Parking Services Officer (Part-Time). This role reports to a professional services administrator. As a Parking Services Officer, your responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas to enforce parking laws and ordinances, issuing citations, and towing vehicles in accordance with relevant codes. You will also assist with traffic control and perform related duties as needed. This position requires shift work, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Schedule: The role may also require being on-call for traffic incidents, road closures, and emergencies.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least 1 year of public contact work in law enforcement; parking enforcement experience is a plus.
License/Certificate: Valid California Driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.

This role involves walking, operating vehicles, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, including late evenings. Must be able to see, hear, communicate effectively, and lift up to 25 pounds.
