We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as Assistant Resident Engineer and/or Assistant Structures Representative for transportation infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in civil engineering or construction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct routine inspections of the work being performed, including reviewing materials, work quality, and adherence to design drawings. Oversee day-to-day construction activities.
2. Ensure all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards, technical specifications, and industry regulations.
3. Take appropriate action when work does not conform to requirements, applying engineering judgment to resolve issues.
4. Serve as the liaison between the project team and field activities.
5. Ensure the site follows health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
6. Maintain daily logs, inspection records, and other documentation.
7. Provide detailed progress reports to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is recommended.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician certification is preferred.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
