Who We Are Looking For:

You're a collaborative, detail oriented public relations executive.You have a team-oriented attitude, you keep the team in which you work on track as you sweat the details in the projects you help manage. You don't wait for projects to be assigned; you dig into the clients' business to help your team be successful.You work hard, have fun along the way, you're proud of the work you deliver…all the while having a passion for emerging trends not just within the industry, but broader socially. What We Want You to Do:

  • Effectively write (creative) press releases to capture the interest in key media for pick-up, draft sounds, credible documents such as client memos, news releases, case histories, backgrounders, and collateral material.
  • Experience in the advertising and media landscape with a strong consumer PR background.
  • Conduct industry monitoring to flag any trends, issues, and media coverage for client - gain an understanding of a client's market by reading relevant industry publications and reporting any relevant findings.
  • Maintain the details of core account programs and updates via databases & trackers.
  • Understand the media and social influencer landscape and be able to develop phone and email pitches to secure coverage; proactively looking for opportunities on behalf of clients.
  • Develop media contact lists with precision to arm your teams with the best intel possible to successfully secure coverage, including sourcing new media outlets, spotting and capitalizing on media and influencer opportunities.
  • Demonstrate competence at using internal and external research capabilities and provide a point of view based on the research.
  • Contribute to the development and presentation of new business programs for potential and existing clients by project managing these initiatives.
  • Spearheads admin duties for the team; including organizing us with necessary agendas, action items, client weekly and monthly reporting, weekly calls, schedule management, etc.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • Creative, positive, and high-energy individual with an ability to execute flawlessly
  • Strong core competency in public relations: successfully working with internal teams, develop strong relationships
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to an ever-changing workload
  • Digitally savvy with fluency with the latest developments in social and new media
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver quality written materials (PR strategies, press releases, analytics)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, flexible and able to solve problems
  • Proficient in Keynote for Mac and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, etc.) and skilled in Cision, CubeYou, HootSuite (or similar social media listening/tracking tools)
  • 3+ years' experience in a PR agency or in-house PR department
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations)
