Job Description

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience
• Good driving record
• Full-time swing shift: Friday - Tuesday, 1400 - 2200
• Location: Fountain Valley Area

As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare customer. Responsibilities include surveillance of healthcare premises, protecting staff, visitors, and members, detecting and preventing suspicious activities, reporting incidents, and providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for signs of crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations
• De-escalate situations verbally and physically as needed
• Inspect security devices and fire equipment
• Screen visitors and staff for access
• Respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently (fire, medical, bomb threats, etc.)
• Assist with patient escort, provide safety escorts, and transport deceased to morgue if required

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience, troubleshooting, or managing stressful situations
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check and drug screening required
• State/local licensing requirements as applicable
• Valid driver's license for driving roles
• Post-offer training and certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior
