Job Title: Assistant Manager

Essential Functions

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, overseeing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve KPIs and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is absent.

Primary Duties

1. Brand (30%): Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional client experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards like merchandising, marketing, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands.
2. People (30%): Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve results. Recruit actively and identify strengths and opportunities for associates, providing coaching or counseling as needed. Maintain positive relations and communication within the team, fostering diversity and inclusion.
3. Operations (30%): Ensure execution of company processes through training, analysis, and continuous improvement. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and ensure compliance with directives.
4. Safety/Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, enforce policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety training and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience
• Preferred: 1+ year management experience
• Effective team leadership and communication skills
• Flexible scheduling availability
• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
