Responsibilities
Are you ready to lead the charge in creating a vibrant and supportive community? As our Residential Manager, you'll be the superhero of our campus or residence, ensuring that the Newport program runs like a well-oiled machine every day! Your mission? To uphold our values, spark innovation, and empower our Residential Supervisors to shine in their roles.
- Supervisory Sidekick: Lead and inspire our Residential Supervisors with weekly feedback, coaching, and training that makes them feel like rock stars!
- Communication Guru: Be the bridge between our clinical team and the residential crew, ensuring everyone is aligned and supportive of our clients.
- Values Champion: Promote our Newport Healthcare values across all locations to create a positive impact.
- Daily Briefing Wizard: Share updates and care plans during daily meetings, energizing the team for the day ahead.
- Safety Sentinel: Use reports and observations to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
- Scheduling Maestro: Manage staffing, payroll, PTO, and performance evaluations to keep operations smooth.
- Training Rockstar: Conduct orientations and training sessions that inspire and prepare Residential Supervisors.
- Delegation Dynamo: Support staff during shifts and handle employee relations issues collaboratively.
- Knowledge Sharer: Lead training sessions and check-ins to keep staff informed and compliant.
- Talent Scout: Collaborate with HR to recruit and hire new team members efficiently.
- Department Connector: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Crisis Commander: Manage escalations and crises effectively, ensuring safety and support.
- Intake Innovator: Oversee resident intake processes, ensuring a welcoming and compliant procedure.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team and organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work preferred or in progress, OR
- State-approved credential OR
- At least 1 year experience working with adolescents/young adults and families with co-occurring disorders
- 2 years' supervisory or management experience preferred
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Health screening, TB clearance, CPR, and criminal record clearance required before employment
Compensation and Benefits
Salary ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on education and experience.
